German Candles for Pyramids (also know as Christmas Carousels or Windmills), candleholders and figurines. Available in a variety of colors and sizes as well as package counts. If in doubt about what size to order, email us for assistance. Items marked with an ' * ' are the most common sizes for pyramids, while the others are more commonly used in other German woodcrafts. All sizes are shown in millimeters and measures the diameter of the candle. Some color / quantity options may be limited. Made in Germany by Eika, Geis, EWA - Ebersbacher Wachswaren and others, specifically for use in Erzgebirge Pyramids, Schwiboggen and other handcrafts. To determine the correct candle for your item, measure the diameter of the cup holder. A holder that measures approximately 1/2" would be the 14mm candle. A holder that measures approximately 3/4" would be the 18mm candle. The number of tiers in your pyramid is not an indicator of the correct candle as different factories used different holders and some single tier pyramids take an 18mm candle while some 3 tier pyramids take a smaller, 14mm candle. Always measure the diameter of the holder. Candle height is standard for all pyramid candles from Germany. The 7mm, 10mm and 14mm are approximately 3" tall, while the 15mm, 18mm, 20.5mm and 22.5mm are approximately 4" tall.
